The Board of Trustees oversees the management of the school and is the body responsible for the legal and financial health of the organization.   Leadership Team members are mandated from the Board of Trustees.

The Leadership Team is composed of the President of the Board of Trustees or a designated board member, members of the faculty, and the administrative head of the school.   In consultation with the full faculty, the Leadership Team is responsible for pedagogical and curricula decisions, student admissions, policy and discipline, as well as all other matters which create and support a healthy, creative, stimulating and enjoyable educational environment.   The Leadership Team is also actively involved in the hiring process of new faculty members.

At Academe of the Oaks , the faculty takes an active role in the academic life of the school, working closely with The Leadership Team in the areas of curricula, pedagogy, extracurricular activities and student affairs.

Additionally, members of the faculty, Board of Trustees, administrative staff and parent body serve together on various school committees to support the work of the school, assuring full community participation.
