Dr. Tara Wyman
Dr. Tara Buckley Wyman received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from California State University, Los Angeles. She then went on to earn her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from UCLA. Dr. Wyman spent three years as a Post Doctoral Fellow at The University of California at San Francisco studying gene therapy, before becoming a chemistry professor at De Anza College in Cupertino, California.
Dr. Wyman has been teaching at Academe of the Oaks since 2004 and completed the Waldorf High School Training Program in 2007. In addition to teaching chemistry, physics, and mathematics, Dr. Wyman also teaches quilting. The mother of twin boys, Dr. Wyman lives in Atlanta with her husband Greg.
