Academe of the Oaks is a young and growing Waldorf high school founded in 2003 in Atlanta, Georgia. Our vision is to establish a model independent, private high school that cultivates not only academic excellence throughout the curriculum, but also educates adolescents to become imaginative, compassionate thinkers who have both the desire and the confidence to make a positive difference in the world.

We believe the answer lies in our ability to balance academically
challenging course work with opportunities for students to think creatively, to discover and use their talents, and to develop a genuine sense of social responsibility. This critical balance is what Academe of the Oaks and the Waldorf approach to learning is all about.
