M.J. Randleman
M.J. Randleman is a graduate of Columbia College, Columbia University
where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts.
She also obtained her Masters in Architecture, Planning and Preservation
at Columbia University. While at Columbia, she played volleyball
and Varsity basketball as well as working as a counselor. She has also successfully completed the three year Waldorf High School Teacher Training.
After graduation, Ms. Randleman received a post-baccalaureate in
Psychology and her Social Work license in the State of Texas. She
worked for a county hospital as not only the Director of Social
Services but also as architect where she designed two rural health
clinics. She continued to do residential design, murals and woodworking
while working as a Case Manager/Counselor for people from infancy
to senior citizens who had multiple diagnoses of mental illness,
mental retardation and substance abuse.
Ms. Randleman has coached
multiple sports and has served as a substitute teacher while raising
her two daughters. She teaches English, History and Art History,
Social Studies and Physical Education and manages the sports program
at Academe of the Oaks. Additionally, Ms. Randleman serves on the
Leadership Team for the High School.
