Ben Roosevelt

Ben Roosevelt received his BA degree in Religious Studies from the University of the South and his Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University. More recently, he received his Master’s in Fine Art from the National University of Ireland, Galway. The arts and humanities have been strong features in his diverse educational background.

For the past several years, Mr. Roosevelt has worked with teenagers and children as a teacher, tutor, counselor, and workshop leader. He has tutored students in inner city schools for the Imagine College program and taught painting and history to patients at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Mr. Roosevelt is a professional artist and has given lectures and workshops about art to a variety of age groups in both the United States and Ireland.

Mr. Roosevelt teaches Art, English, History, and Social Studies at Academe of the Oaks.
