all over the East Coast, spent three years in Santa Cruz, California,
and finally settled in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, Thaïs.
Dave has three passions: music, animals and martial

Georgia, where he practiced Northern Shaolin with Craig Kiessling
for six years. He then studied Bagua and Xingyi with Allen Pittman
from 2000 to the present. His repertoire includes a broad curriculum
of calisthenics, yoga, chi gung and martial forms including two
complete systems of internal Chinese martial arts.
Dave teaches high school students at Academe of
the Oaks using a curriculum developed by Allen Pittman and himself.
He continues his education in Physical arts by teaching diverse
groups of people, attending classes and seminars by other notable
teachers, and is currently working together with his colleagues
to form a non-profit organization to preserve and promote traditional
health systems.
